About Little Seedlings
Little Seedlings Daycare offers care for children from infancy through early childhood and into school-age years. Our educators are fully licensed through the province of British Columbia and offer an outdoor-based educational experience. Throughout the day, the children are involved in outdoor play and nature exploration as well as weekly community walks. Our intention is to provoke natural learning by fully immersing the children in hands-on outdoor experiences and adventures.
Outdoor Play
Playing in green spaces helps children’s physical development and imagination as they explore and experiment through play experiences.
Nature Exploration
Nature provides children with endless opportunities discovery. The sights, scents, sounds, and textures of nature walks are ever-changing and help children learn about the natural world.
Community Walks
Exploring the community helps give children a sense of belonging and gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for where they live.

Armstrong’s Outdoor-Based Daycare
Armstrong is known for it’s friendly people and beautiful setting. This wonderful community informs our programming. We believe that children grow through exploration of nature, community and the self.
Children at Little Seedlings have the opportunity to grow through hands-on experiences in the natural surroundings of one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Our infant and toddler program where we encourage exploration in a safe and calm environment
Sprouts
A multi-age program designed to encourage community and understanding of nature through outdoor activities
Saplings
Our 3-5 program that offers daily circle, craft and a variety of play-based experiences for kindergarten readiness
Foresters
After school care for children from kindergarten to age 12. An outdoor-based curriculum with year-round field trips
What are your hours of operation?
We’re open Monday to Friday, 7am – 5:30pm
Do you have a waitlist?
Availability for programs can fluctuate constantly. Contact us directly to find out if there are openings for the program you want, or register for the waitlist if there isn’t at the moment.
Is your centre eligible for subsidies?
Yes we are. As we are a fully liscenced Day Care, parents are eligible to apply for the Affordable Child Care Benefit.

Meals and snacks are provided by the parents.
